Cancellation List:

If you would like to be seen sooner than your next scheduled appointment, you can ask to join our cancellation list! You can specify a particular provider or for more urgent needs, you can ask to be seen by the next available doctor/massage therapist. If an opening becomes available, you will receive a text message with the date and time of the appointment and a link. To accept the appointment, you must click on the link! Please keep in mind that these text messages are sent out to everyone on the list with an eligible request—appointments are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, so keep an eye on those text messages to make sure you don’t miss any appointment opportunities! Missed Appointment Policy:

We ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or miss an appointment. This allows us to better reallocate open appointment times to others in need of treatment. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we ask that you call at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time for chiropractic visits or by 3:00pm the day prior for massage/laser visits.

This policy also applies to late arrivals for scheduled appointments. Each standard chiropractic follow-up visit is 15 minutes long. While we do allow a brief grace period (usually half of your scheduled appointment time, e.g. 7-8 minutes), arriving late may mean that your doctor does not have adequate time to treat you and may require rescheduling. In that instance, the missed appointment fee would apply. If you believe you may be a few moments late, please call as soon as possible—with enough notice, we may be able to accommodate a late arrival with same-day rescheduling.

*Please note that additional same-day services (acupuncture, Hands-On Therapy, etc.) which require additional appointment slots will be charged individually. A $25 fee will apply for each appointment that is missed.

 

Personal Injury/Auto Accident Care:

For personal injury or auto insurance cases, we do require payment in full from the patient at the time of service. We do not carry liens or work with attorneys. We are happy to provide detailed receipts, doctors’ notes, and billing information upon request at the end of your treatment. This may allow you to be reimbursed by the auto insurance involved, but you will need to contact the insurances involved for details.

In the state of Missouri, you are permitted to choose whether or not your health insurance is billed for auto-related injuries, but please keep in mind that some insurance carriers will deny care that they feel your auto insurance is responsible for. With this being the case, please be aware that if your health insurance claims are denied, you will be responsible for the full balance of your treatment. In some cases, claims may be approved initially, but if the auto insurance involvement is discovered later (via doctor’s notes, direct inquiry from the insurer, etc.), the claims may be retroactively denied. If this occurs, the patient will be responsible for the balance.
